简介：Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Tom Tryon--son of clothier Arthur Lane Tryon and not, as is commonly believed--actor Glenn Tryon--grew up in Wethersfield, Connecticut. In 1943 he enlisted in the US Navy and served in the South Pacific until 1946.
